YOUR CHANCE TO SUPPORT THE NEW BIRMINGHAM WHEELS!
(And have some fun on the Birmingham Wheels track)!
Announcing the ‘STAR IN YOUR OWN CAR’ event!
Saturday 29th August 2020 – 9.30am
To celebrate the re-opening of Wheels, we have decided to re-introduce an old favourite, in a new form.
You might remember the fabulous "Production Car Time Trials" which were an extremely popular feature of Stockcar events in days gone by.
Well, they're back, in the form of the 'Star In Your Own Car' event at Birmingham Wheels - open to anyone who wishes to drive their Road Legal car on the Wheels Raceway, against the clock, for biggish prizes!
You must have a current driving license and therefore must be over 17 years old.
Each driver will have two x3 lap Heats in order to set their fastest time.
These times will determine which of the finals you will take part in.
Each Final will allow each driver a further three laps to find who can set the fastest times.
The first three in each final will receive a trophy or award! And make a bit of history as the first winners of the "Star In Your Own Car" event on the hallowed Birmingham Wheels Asphalt!
The cost of entry will be £30 per driver and this will allow two other mechanics/supporters to accompany you at this first ‘behind closed doors’ event.
This is your chance to support the historic Birmingham Wheels AND have a great time!
All entries must be pre-booked by calling Carol at the Motor Racing Live Office (01543 428903) between 9.00am and 1.00pm on any weekday, or leave a message and she will call you back!
All bookings must be made before Friday 28th August at 1.00pm.
We can take a maximum of 40 cars - so hurry! Join us for a bit of Saturday morning fun, and support the Raceway!
The event starts at 9.30am (gates open at 8.30am) and depending on numbers we estimate the event will finish at approximately 1.00pm.
